Videos Galore

So I've shot a lot of cute videos, but I've been putting off posting them for some reason. I hope you have 15 minutes to sit and watch! I can't believe how much he seems to be learning about the world these days. Enjoy!!

In this video he is sitting up on my tummy having a conversation with me. We take turns talking, going back and forth!! He loves to do this.

He has learned to do this fake cry thing... sometimes just for no reason. He'll do it, get distracted, and then smile 5 seconds later. What a little toot. Notice, too, the 500 rolls on his arms. This kid is getting fat!

He has started to blow bubbles and drool all over. I'm pretty sure he thinks it's great fun.

He now reaches and grabs for toys, or really anything, and they go straight into his mouth.

And last but not least... take a look at Stormie playing with Carter. This might be my favorite... so cute!!

Rolling Over

Carter first started rolling over from his tummy to his back a few weeks ago. He can do it, but he doesn't really know that he can do it, so he doesn't do it all the time yet. The other morning I had him on the floor in his room playing, and he went from his back to his tummy!! I actually got it on video. He started going onto his side, which he's been doing for a while. But when I saw him trying to push all the way over, I grabbed the camera, and this is what I got!! You can hear how proud I am of him, and at first he seems that way, too. Then, he just seems to be worn out from all the hard work! What a big boy. He has done it several times since!

Carter's New Trick

I've noticed the last 4 or 5 days, Carter has really loved rolling over onto his side when he's lying down. Right now, he only goes to his right side. His new thing is rolling over, stuffing his fingers in his mouth, shouting out really loud, and grunting! Watch this!!

Carter's First 4th of July!

Eric was working out of town over the weekend, so I took Carter to my parent's for a few days. On the 4th, my Dad grilled steaks and Mom baked potatoes for lunch. After that, we went to a friend's pool who happened to be out of town. I had gotten Little Swimmers for him, but figured they'd be way too big because they were 16-26 lbs. And I was right... but we made them work. We spent a little bit of time in the pool, then went back for dinner. We didn't go see any fireworks, but Carter slept right through the ones that were being set off right down the street. Man, they were LOUD! It was a good day, but we sure missed our Daddy!
