Bounce House Fun

Eric put our bounce house up on Sunday afternoon, and the kids had a blast in it!

She was saying "neigh, neigh" as if she was riding a stick horse......

But I think she looks more like a little flying witch! Hehe! ;)

Climbing up the slide is her new favorite thing to do.....

Eric left it out overnight, and we had Carter's little friend Carson over to play in it on Monday. These two had SO much fun..... laughing, jumping, running, squealing ALL morning long. I'm surprised they were still long enough for me to snap one quick pic. :)

The bounce house is put away now (and when Eric deflated it, Ella was definitely disappointed and let us know with a very big "UH OH!"), but I'm sure it will be back up again soon!!

First Water Playtime of the Season!

On Sunday we dusted off the old water table and set it up for the kids for the first time this year! Carter took an extra long nap this day, so he joined us a little late..... but Ella had a blast splashing around in the water!! They got a good hour or so of playtime in before the sun dropped low enough to make it chilly with the wind. I knew they were done when they started shivering!

 

 She kept saying "bath, bath!"

And just as quickly as she got up, she got right back down!

 There's my boy! Finally up and ready to play!

I know they're looking forward to lots more of this to come! 

Carter's Birthday, continued

So we saved all the gift opening until we got home so that Carter and his friends could enjoy their entire playtime on the trampolines. We HAD to open them, literally, the minute we walked in the door at home. I mean, I barely got things set down and my camera out in time.... he was so excited!!

Carter with all his wonderful birthday gifts.... he loved every single thing he got!!  

I'm not sure he got enough super hero stuff, what do y'all think?? :)

They both played, and played, and played on the scooter and bike and with all the other stuff until well after dark!

I think it's safe to say that Carter had a wonderful birthday!! We appreciate all who celebrated with us.... it made our day to see all the joy and excitement in him about turning another year older!

Next year, FIVE!! WHAT??
