We have made it through our first week with Cole home, and it went pretty smooth! Eric was home the whole week, and we all enjoyed the time together. My recovery from delivery was a breeze, so I was easily able to be up and moving around by the time we got home from the hospital. Thankful for that, because life goes on when you have two older children!

She's adjusted really well. For the first few days she was a little tentative. You definitely couldn't push anything on her (like holding Cole or watching a diaper change), she definitely needed it to be on her terms when she wanted. She's warmed up a lot more to him since the first few days, and is so sweet with him.
She talks to him a lot, and calls him sweetie, cutie and pumpkin pie (which she came up with herself, so cute!)
We're just so proud of Ella and how much of a big girl she has been with this new transition to big sister. Love her to pieces!
Carter was bonded to Cole from the moment he met him. Has been completely in love and infatuated with him ever since. He misses him while he's at school, and loves on him every chance he gets.
He takes the time to talk to him and just lay in the floor with him
holding his hand or stroking his little head. He's so sweet and loving.
This afternoon he wanted to read a book to Cole. So precious.
Cole got his first bath at home on Sunday night. The kids were very interested in watching, but Cole wasn't a huge fan. He didn't mind me flipping him over on his tummy, but the rest, not so much.

Eric gave him his first bottle of breast milk on Tuesday. He took it like a champ and has had several bottles since. Grateful for the ease of that!
