A Month in Pictures

Haven't had much time to blog lately, but I feel like I need to catch up on documenting things! I haven't taken many with our good camera lately, so this is the best I can do!

Here is the last month in cell phone pictures.

3 weeks old!

 Silly girl in the tub

Lots of adorable pictures of Cole sleeping in this post, here's your warning! I'm sorry, but that's just about all he does, and he does it pretty adorably, if you ask me!
 Headed to a soccer game

This wrap is amazing, Cole spent quite a bit of his first month in this thing! He's getting heavier now, so it's harder for me to wear him in it as much anymore, but he still loves it, and so do I!
Headed to the park, little brother in the wrap, and big brother on his bike way up ahead!

 Little boy, giant bean bag.
 Before school snuggles
This is how I get my exercise in these days!
Pizza and Ponies! Lunch date after gymnastics!

 4 weeks old!

 Sweet helper!

 Halloween hat!
We've spent a good portion of the last month transitioning Ella from her old room to her new room. Here she is enjoying her giant new closet!
 Feeding her baby, HA!

Cole was obviously bored with my shows!
Ella on her Halloween PJ day at school.
We have smiles!! 5 weeks old
 ha! this kid...
Ella's been learning how to ride Carter's old bike
And he's been practicing without training wheels.
 Sweet sleeping beauty

Enjoying their Halloween popcorn from Grandma
She's just too sassy and too cute for words!
Carter's last soccer game of the season. He's doing the corner kick :)
This is a picture google+ made by piecing together several different shots. I had to laugh because Carter is in this picture 3 different times.... can you find them all? :)
Receiving his trophy from his coach.
 :)
 Loving on baby brother

 Sweet faces
The kids take turns each night cuddling with Cole in their bed for a little bit. Sweet moments.

Happy to no longer be waiting in line at the polls!

Here is a peek at Ella's big girl room. It's still a work in progress, but hopefully will be complete soon! I'll have to post pictures when it is. She loves it in there!!
 6 weeks old!
Ella and her class made Native American vests and hats at school. They were adorable all wearing them when I went to pick her up. I told her I wanted a picture when we got home, she was less than thrilled.
 Ok, that's better.

 Can't get enough of him!!
The kids loved playing with friends at Carter's school's spirit night at Chick fil A. Look at her swinging like a monkey.
Last Friday, I attended Carter's school assembly because we were told that kindergarten was performing a song they have been learning in music class. The music teacher picked one class to be featured on stage (not Carter's). It was the class of the blond haired teacher pictured here. And boy, was she in for a surprise. Her sweet boyfriend orchestrated an elaborate proposal in front of everyone that included her class. They stood on stage and sang "That's Amore" while the rest of kindergarten stood and sang in their spots, and then they each held up a letter that spelled out "Will You Marry Me?" as the curtain opened and he walked out to surprise her. Everyone was shocked, including her! It was really fun to watch this happen in front of the whole school and all the faculty and so many parents!
Carter is in the orange and white stripes standing near the far left.
So sweet! And I love that some of the letters got mixed around! Classic kindergarten and so perfect!
Cute little monkey booty up in the air!
Carter went to see a movie with friends on Friday night, so we treated Ella to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and a carousel ride.
Fun with my girl!

 Smiles are getting bigger!
 Cole at 6 1/2 weeks.....
and for fun, look at this picture of Carter at the exact same age!  Uncanny!
Sweet girl helping to keep him calm while Mommy finishes getting ready. She loves to help.
She has a wrap to carry her baby in, just like Mommy!
I wrapped her up using one of my infinity scarves, big hit! Even Carter loved it!

Lots of googly eyes going on between these two. :)

 Big man!
Here is a good picture of Cole's big dimple on his left cheek. It elusive, but I caught it!
Cuddle time in sister's bed. She's so happy!
Looking cute cuddled up in the cold!
We've done a lot of this the last 2 days.... it's too cold to do anything else!
 Lots of cute expressions here!

And some sweet videos for your viewing pleasure!

Halloween 2014

We went with a Star Wars theme this year for Halloween, and it was pretty darn adorable if you ask me. I'm not sure we'll ever be able to coordinate all 3 kids' costumes again, since it's not likely they'll ever agree on anything, so it was fun to get to do it this once. And it might go down in history as my favorite Halloween costumes of theirs, ever!

Cutest little Yoda there ever was!
Thanks to my sweet and talented friend Nikki who knit this adorable Yoda hat for her son and was kind enough to let us borrow it. So perfect for the occasion!

Our little Princess Leia

And the handsome Luke Skywalker

The cutest trio ever!
Yoda is meditating! ;)

Excited to be heading out!
Ella was eager to meet up with our friends and get started!
A few of our neighborhood friends, had to get a picture of my 2 with Evie, who was Darth Vader!
And I love how Kaylee is all cozied up to Carter!
Love their candy chute set up each year!!
 Zombie on stilts! Crazy!
The kids checking out some of the awesome Halloween decorations!

Fun night with friends! We all enjoyed ourselves, and the kids were pooped when they finally went to bed. Maybe we can talk the kids into dressing up together next year, it made it so much fun!

Cole's 1 month Check up

We took Cole yesterday morning for his 1 month visit. He's now 8 pounds, 13 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long. He's gained 1.2 pounds and 1 inch in the last 2 weeks! Growing good, but I kinda wish he would stop! :( Anyway, he's staying awake a little more these days, sleeping in 5-6 hour stretches at night, and has pretty good head control! Still rolling from tummy to back occasionally, too. We've gotten a few smiles, and he's definitely trying to do more of that, as well as coo-ing a little. He had to get a shot today, and that was pretty heartbreaking. Hate that red-faced, pitiful pouty cry! Anyway, we'll be back in a month for another visit!

Carter's First Field Trip

Carter went on his first field trip to the pumpkin patch today with kindergarten. This is the pumpkin patch at our church, so he's been here before, but this time he got to have a science, social studies and math lesson, along with craft time, story time, and a fun hayride with friends! I was able to join them for most of the morning (Cole, too... he slept on my chest the entire time!), and I just loved seeing Carter in a classroom environment.

Science lesson.
Will a pumpkin float? Why or why not? What else floats?

Searching for "p" words in the hay maze
 Carter found the word "play"
Carter and his little buddy (and our neighbor), Jackson picnicing
Carter's entire class
During the math lesson, the kids got to pair up and weigh pumpkins on a scale!

All the kids had a great day. Carter said his favorite part was "riding on the school bus! ....well actually, all of it!" He was very excited to ride on a real school bus for the first time, though! I enjoyed getting to know some of the kids in his class that he's always talking about. :) Thanks to my Mom for staying with Ella so I could go and enjoy! Fun day!!
