Daily Life - March

Here are cell phone pictures from March. It was a busy month for us with lots of fun events, and lots of milestones for Cole!

We went to a bounce house place one day with some neighborhood friends, and were happy to see that it was glow jump! How fun! The kids loved it, and Cole loved all the lights!

Fun on the climbing wall.

Eric has traveled quite a bit this month, so night time routine is a little hectic with one parent. Cole has had to fend for himself a few times. Notice Alvin helping to hold the bottle up... ha! Do what you gotta do when baby needs a bottle and mom doesn't have enough hands!
Cole fat and happy and enjoying story time with everyone.
Love my happy little guy.

Lunch dates with my girl!
Cole learned how to sit independently this month. Love that hand out to balance! Big boy!

Oh Carter!
  Pretty tired girl.

Sweet brothers!

I mean, all the cuteness. Love it.

Carter's baseball team had a lot of practices cancelled due to all the rain we had, so the team went to the batting cages instead. This was his first time.... Eric said he loved it and did great. How fun!
New to the doorway jumper this month.... loving it!
Sweeties
Fun day at the park on spring break!

Playing together

 Fun at Grandma's!

He's a great helper! And he loves that baby more than anything.
Getting a belly rub from Grandad and loving it!
They had guy time while us girls went to see Cinderella and went shopping! Little fashionista in the dressing room with me! She's got my booties on!
First time swinging! Loved it!

Lovin on each other.
Our side patio is good for some shady play almost anytime of the day! This afternoon it was sidewalk chalk!

Pretty sunrise, pretty girl!
Lots of cuteness from this boy.

March maddness watching with Daddy. Overload for sure, he didn't know where to look! But he does seem to like watching basketball. :)
Beer, remotes, baby. Check, check, and check.
He doesn't seem to mind that she gets in his bubble.
So interested in watching everyone eat!
Soooooo cute!

We got Carter a desk for his room, and did a little rearranging and redecorating in there for him. It looks like such a big kid room..... really, like a 12 year old could live in there :(
:)
Always my happy boy!
Another beautiful afternoon at the park with friends!

Lucky to get one good shot!

Always a guinea pig with his big sister!
My boys.

Was in Carter's room one day while he was at school putting away laundry, and found this out on his desk. Love it! His baseball team is the Orioles. :)

This boy wants to move!

Swinging out back!
6 month old cutie!! This was on his half-birthday.

He just goes with me from room to room while I do laundry and pick up, rolling around in the floor and trying to get into things. My days are numbered with him being "non-mobile"

Carter had perfect attendance again this 9 weeks! Here he is standing at the assembly (on 70s day, hince the tye-dye) in recognition. One more 9 weeks, and he'll have perfect attendance for the entire year! Hope he can make it!
We had a fun little Easter Egg Hunt in our neighborhood. Perfect weather for it, and all the kids had a ton of fun!

The party was complete with balloon twisters and face-painters! Ella was so proud of her pretty "Heart Princess" face painting. The lady that did it was doing some pretty awesome stuff on everyone!! She did this literally in 90 seconds. I was very impressed.

So that was March for us!! :)

Trip to the Circus

The Shrine Circus is in town, and we made it a fun family outing on Sunday! We went to Ringling Brothers last summer, and I have to say, this one was just as good, or maybe even better! It was much less expensive and here local in our city, so it was definitely a bonus that we didn't have to go all the way to downtown Dallas. And, since it was at a small arena, it wasn't too crowded at all! Great way to spend a Sunday with the family. We all had a really great time!

We went early for some fun before the show!
Carter and the Ringmaster!
They had camel, elephant, and pony rides set up. Ella REALLY wanted to ride a pony (she never has before this), and Carter REALLY wanted nothing to do with any of them. HA! My little apprehensive boy. He was happy to watch Ella and everyone else though!

Blurry, but you get the idea. She was so excited, and then when it came time, she got pretty tense and nervous!
 Not so sure!
This cracks me up! Look at her face!!
Once we got going she loosened up after a minute or two.
Getting more comfortable. Cole was checking it all out.
Once she settled in, she kept saying "Nice! Nice! Nice!" to the pony. I think she was definitely still nervous about it, but this was her way of being brave and showing her courage, and I thought it was so sweet and cute!
Once we finished that, she wanted to do an elephant ride.
Here we are on an elephant!
Eric and Carter watched from the sidelines. And I love that Cole got to ride too, two for the price of one!

At our seats and ready for the show.
More light toys..... Between the circus and Frozen, we spent $50 on light toys. Yikes!! Hey, when in Rome, I guess. :/
Cotton Candy on a stick. Carter got a snow cone. Sugar overload, woo hoo!
Some pictures from the show... it was so great!
Cole's entertainment was mostly watching the light toys. He did watch a little of the show, too. He was so happy and content the whole time just to be held and check things out. He is just happy to tag along!

 Impressive!

This clown and his "baby elephant" might have been the best part of the show. It was a little dog in an elephant costume and it was just hilarious to watch! It looked so real! I think Ella thought it was truly a baby elephant the entire time until the end when he pulled the costume off! She was quite perplexed!
Oh sweet boy that will sleep anywhere. Not sure how he slept at the circus of all places, but he sure did! After about a 25 minute cat nap, he woke up smiling and happy as can be!

 Show's over, heading out!

Looking forward to next year!!
