Powell Family Reunion 2015

Last weekend, we traveled down to the hill country area to spend a weekend with our extended family on my dad's side. My parents organized a great get-together at an awesome spot along the river. Everyone had a great time, especially the kids! Here are some pictures from our weekend.

Somewhere in central Texas!
Yep, time for a snooze!
Cole did amazing, mostly because he slept from the time we left lunch in Round Rock all the way to our bed and breakfast (3+ hours). That was nice.
Finally made it, and checking out the place.
Cousins made it too!
The girls.... Ella, Monroe, & Zoe
Fun running around!
There was a large dining and living area big enough for all of us. Perfect!
We got lots of rain the first full day, but the kids made the best of it inside.
Watching a movie (Ella, Zoe, Monroe, Nathan & Carter)

One of the oldest Cypress trees in Texas! Estimated to be 900-950 years old.
Time to play at the river. It was a little higher and moving a little faster than normal.
Cole enjoying watching

Dads and kids

They took the kids upstream so they could have a nice, slow float, and catch a few small rapids at the end.
This is Nathan, Carter and Zoe
Fun!

The men had quite a time jumping into the pool on this giant beach ball. It was pretty entertaining for all of us! Eric was the best at it, hands down. Aaron, a close second

Cole was ready to float!!

Knocked out. Too much fun with the cousins
Ella loved Aaron.

The kids had fun on a treasure hunt
