First 1/2 of September in Cell Phone Pictures

September is half way over, and I've got a good amount of cell phone pictures to dump!

Carter and Ella dressed Cole in one of Ella's princess dresses one morning. I laughed so hard at this because I have very vivid memories of my older brother and me doing this to our little brother!
This dress goes to Ella's knees, but was the perfect size and fit for a long dress on a 1 year old!
He even got the wig and crown! HA!
Love this picture of all my people :)
The big kids had fun with the big monster truck on the patio.
 And Cole watched from inside.
Obviously, our backyard was still a construction site.... I think this was the only 15-20 minutes they were able to play outside during that month!

Cole having his first taste of a fruit smoothie
 Not so sure.
Happy boy! Cole FINALLY cut his first tooth right at the beginning of September... look at all that drool on his shirt! He's just been a soggy mess recently!
Carter trying to get Cole to take some steps.
Cole will take a few steps at this point, but only if he wants to, or if he thinks no one is watching him. He will not do it for an audience, and if you hold something out for him to get, that is no incentive, he will just squat down and crawl to it real fast. He is capable, but will do it when HE wants to.
 Messy eater.
Quiet reading one evening while I cooked dinner. Divine.
He thinks he's big now that he can climb up on the fireplace.
Carter hates it.... he's always afraid for Cole that he is going to fall off. Thankfully, he has learned how to get down by putting his feet down backwards. Still makes us all nervous though, and we try to keep him off of it. But he sure thinks it's funny!
First time to watch a show outside!
Having fun crawling around and getting dirty!
Getting mad that he doesn't have any bubbles.

 Got some.
 Satisfied.
Getting bonked on the head with a balloon is hilarious!
Why do little girls do such odd things to their babies?! Yikes. And she was so proud.
We had our patio bar stools delivered in a giant box that the kids played house in for a few days. Ella took a flashlight in there one day, and apparently left it on and walked away. Cole bee lined for it and was so proud of himself.

Trying on his Halloween costume.... a dragon!

We laughed so hard because he did not know what to do or how to act with this thing on. It has a giant tail that was in his way, and that hat! He basically just rolled around in the floor and whined. Halloween should be interesting this year!
Caught Cole digging ice out of the cooler after a pool trip one day. Kept him happy for a while!
 Sweet girl playing with Cole.
I used my flat iron on Ella's hair and was surprised how long it has gotten when it's all straightened out. (Baby photo bomber here... ha!)
A small glimpse of the first tooth!
Cute, but gonna miss that gummy smile, though.
Pretty girl passed out! Love that she still naps for me!
Cutie pie. Feeding the dog is so funny!
Watching my boys swing from inside. Carter would get down and give Cole a few pushes, then go get on his and go together until Cole slowed down, then do it over again. :)
 Handstands everywhere.
The men being manly and putting together our new patio table and barstools.
The ladies being girly and watching them
 Love this snuggle bug!
Ella's been practicing riding her bike.

Getting to play at the school playground on the weekend is awesome!
Two cuties in their jerseys ready for game day!
 Tiny Cowboy fan!
 Bounce house fun all weekend!
Sweet girl sharing her lemon cake with Cole while we grocery shop.
Cole finished his meal, got down, and crawled over and started eating Carter and Ella's food! We laughed and laughed at him just snatching and grabbing whatever he could!

 Getting mad now!

Another day, another picture of Cole eating. This was spaghetti squash. He really does eat anything I put in front of him!

Helping Daddy? More like getting in the way...

My Birthday with My Loves

I had a great birthday this weekend. It was on Saturday which meant lots of time to myself, plus family time! I went shopping in the morning, met Eric and the kids for a yummy lunch on a patio (AWESOME weather this weekend), then out to finish the rest of my shopping and errands. Made it home for a little rest time, then hung out on the breezy patio all afternoon and evening.

Take note of all the lounging I'm doing!
 Kids playing....
 Football on....
Baby snuggling.... All perfect ways to spend the day. :)
  I mean, come on!
Annual picture with the kids on my birthday.
They were pretty cooperative! Love this shot!

We had a yummy steak dinner complete with cookie cake for dessert. And once the kids went to bed, Eric and I lounged outside on the patio for hours. It was a cool and breezy 70 degrees, and we watched football and DVRed shows. I even cuddled up in a blanket at one point. It was sooooo nice, makes me look forward to fall and winter that much more. Perfect ending to an awesome day!

Go Vols!

This post is for Eric!
He got our kids up and dressed on Saturday, which happened to be opening day of college football. So, not a shocker that he dressed everyone in their Tennessee jerseys! He also took them to Chick-Fil-A for breakfast and playtime and let me have an easy, quiet morning at home. Hey, if he's going to do that for me on a Saturday morning, he can dress our kids in whatever he wants! Either way, they all looked kinda cute in their matching Vols attire. :)

Cute as ever!!

Playtime!

Eric said Cole climbed all the way up through the playset! Goodness!

Maybe they're good luck, Tennessee won their first game.... by a landslide! They're playing a big game this weekend, so we'll have to try our luck with the jerseys again :)

Ella Goes Back To School

I got Ella back to school this week! This is her second year, and we're at the same preschool as the last couple of years. She's very familiar with everything and everyone, and was really excited to get back at it! Last week we got her class assignment and went to meet her teachers one day.

Here she is, all dressed and ready to meet them and see her new classroom!
Such a pretty girl, and looking so grown up!
In her classroom, right at home.
Excited to see some familiar books!
So today was Ella's first day! Here she is before heading to school this morning!

So big!
Love that purple on her, too!

Relaxed much?!
I snapped a few quick pictures just after dropping her off. She went right in and got started with her playdoh at her table space.

Her best little friend from school last year is in her class again this year, so that's awesome for them. :)
When I picked her up, they said she had a great day. She told me that she got to missing me once, but Ms. Julie held her and then she was fine. Thankful for caring and loving teachers to love on my girl when she needs it the most! Looking forward to an awesome year for Ella!

And just for fun, compared to this time last year!
