September Cell Phone Pics: Part Two

Picking up in mid-September with cell phone pictures!

I went to the Garth Brooks concert with a few girlfriends. We had a great time, and it was an awesome show!
Emily and me, friends for 15+ years!
We took the kids to watch the wake boarders and have dinner nearby our house. What a fun place to have a nice evening outside with family!
They all enjoyed playing and running around after dinner.

Checking out the Hula Hut. Though we didn't eat there this particular evening, we did eventually make it back over to it, and it was yummy!

 Watching the wake boarders

 Happy boy!
 She looks so big!
We had some friends over to watch the Cowboys, and the kids loved playing out back..... awesome weather for it!
Early morning park play with my little two

Vole..... always standing on his head
And always climbing.... really?!

Carter wore his TN jersey to school for college day, so Ella had to wear hers too! I Thought she looked so cute!

I made a cake for Carter's teacher's birthday! Was a little sad I didn't get to eat any of it. :)
Playing out back in the ball pit. Those big kids crack me up! Baby toys/activities are always fun for them, too!

 Three crazies!
I had to wake Cole up to come own for his birthday party. This is how I found him.... completely passed out with a blanket over his head!

Early morning pushing Cole in his car out front. These kids have been fighting over the job!

Spoiled baby! Maybe being the 3rd isn't so bad......

Hanging out at the Hula Hut after dinner. Fun spot!

We've been enjoying some great weather lately!
Love my boys.... watching music videos, I think.
Awesome way to relax before bedtime!
Cole's "swing", as Ella calls it. He doesn't really want to jump in this thing, he mostly just expects to be pushed. HA!
 ...and Ella delivers. :)

We went to a fun new park after school one day with some neighborhood friends. Cole looks so big walking around! :(

Carter thought it was funny to terrorize Cole with this remote control spider. I have to admit, it was pretty funny. I have a cute video I'll try to remember to upload. Stinker!

A few more picstures of park fun.....

 Cute brothers
Uncle Andrew gave the kids some funny flavored minion tongue tattoos. They got a kick out of these. Weird, but funny!

 Sweet.

Carter's been practicing riding his bike again lately, Cole had to check them out.

And Ella's been doing great on hers, too.
Cutie wearing his new back pack!
 Looking too big!
And checking out his new car seat. Just getting too big, too fast!
With friends after dinner one night. Sliding down hills on boxes. Fun stuff!
Blurry, but that's Ella at the bottom. Carter in the blue.
Lots of fun things planned for October. This is one of my favorite times of year!!

Carter's Boosterthon Fun Run

A few pictures from this year's Fun Run at Carter's school this week. He ran 45 laps (max was 35, but he kept going!) Eric brought Ella and Cole to cheer him on, while I volunteered and marked runner's laps on their shirts. That was quite a job, I tell you! I must have hash marked over 500 times! But I enjoyed it, and I know Carter loved having me there to run to for a hash mark after each lap. Proud of him and his participation. And thanks to all who pledged and donated to his school. They raised 100% of their goal this year!

Carter is center with the red sweat band

Carter's class. As a class, they raised almost $2,500! Awesome!

Cole's "First" (Second) Haircut

So I took Cole today for his first big boy haircut. Technically, he had his first haircut by me about 6 weeks ago, I decided to trim up the sides myself right before we went to New Orleans. I did an ok job, but it's grown quite a bit since then, so it was time for it to happen for real.

I was out running errands this morning and thought maybe I could swing by right when they open and make it happen. The timing was great and we got right in! He was all happy and smiles and exploring when we first got there, but became weary quickly after being put in the car. The cape came over him, and that was the first straw. She got his hands free, but he still wasn't happy. Then she wet his hair and it all came crashing down! Poor baby, you'd have thought he was being tortured! He cried real, big, fat tears. All we could do was laugh! In his defense, it was naptime. Past it actually. But hey, when you're the 3rd child and Mom gets an idea to get a haircut, you just have to go with it! I laughed when I was telling Eric about it because I distinctly remember with Carter the 1st haircut being this planned out thing, making sure he was napped and fed before we went in so he'd be on his best behavior. Even Ella's (though she was older) was pretty well planned out. Not poor 3rd child Cole, on a whim is the only way to go! And oh boy, did he suffer! Enjoy these pics. :)

Ummm, what's happening here?!
I

 Not feeling this, Mom
 Ok, water?! Noooooo!! Not water!

Calmed down for a quick second....
But now she's cutting!! Back to big tears!

When is this going to stop?!

And I will say, this girl did a great haircut, considering all the swatting and twisting he was doing! It looks awesome, and he looks another year older somehow. :)
And if you didn't believe me by the pictures, here's a video. :)
He's actually kind of faking it here..... you know, trying to get all the sympathy he can.
