Pumpkin Patch Visit 2015

We took the kids to one of the better local pumpkin patches on Monday. Hot day for middle of October....93 degrees! Whew!! We survived probably only because humidity was low and there was a bit of a breeze. Enjoy some pumpkin patch pictures below!!

Cole was my bravest child when it came to the animals in the barn area. He had no problem going right up to them and checking them out.

Carter, on the other hand, kept his distance. This is him each year! He prefers to watch them, and not feed them or attempt to touch. Cracks me up!!

And Ella.... she's not in any of these pictures because she flat out REFUSED to even come into the barn. She stood outside (directly behind that plywood in the back) for the first 10 minutes while we went in.

It took lots of negotiating to even get her to leave the entrance area! What a pout!!

Eric finally was able to coerce her in if she came on his shoulders.

Then she warmed up enough to stand on her own two feet. :)

Fall Camping Trip

 We took the kids to Eric's parents' place this weekend for some fun outdoors. Eric camped outside with the big kids while Cole and I enjoyed the beds inside! We had great weather and lots of fun. Always enjoy our time up there!

 The big kids loved riding in the bed of the truck with Eric, and playing in it at the campsite.

 We had a big camp fire going early. Carter loved helping with that.

 Love this next series of pictures. Sweet Ella was going to share her water, but Cole had other ideas. He wanted that bottle, and wasn't too pleased when she pulled it back towards herself!

 After Cole went to bed, we made pizzas to cook in the pizza oven outside.

Each of them took turns rolling the dough with Grandpa.

 After dinner, we sat by the fire and made smores.

 Everyone was up early and we spent more time playing outside! Cole and Eric enjoyed pears right off the tree!

Cole was not a fan of sitting in the tractor. Too soon!

 But loved sitting in the backhoe!

 As well as playing in and climbing all over the mule.

 The tent along was great entertainment!

 Hard to beat coffee and cereal by the campfire. The snuggles were pretty great, too :)

Even Stormie had fun!

We all had a great time "camping!" The kids got to stay one extra night with Grandma and Grandpa while Eric and I got away for the evening to go to the Rangers playoff game. Fun night, even though the game didn't turn out the way we wanted. :( Hoping they can pull out a win today and we can make it to another game next series!

 Loved our craft beers that we got in Texas Rangers mason jars!!
