We spent Christmas Eve at my parents' house this year. We went over there early to get a start on the food, then went to church in the afternoon, then after had a wonderful dinner and dessert. We let the kids open some gifts in their PJs before heading home to leave cookies and milk out and off to bed for Santa to come!
Working on desserts!
It was so warm and nice outside, the guys took the kids on a nature walk while the ladies worked in the kitche.
Then to the media room after lunch to snuggle up and watch Home Alone
Off to church after that (I spy Cole, ha!)
A few pictures with my girl in the car, since Uncle Andrew rode shot gun.
Keeping busy and quiet in church
Ella's poufy dress was just so tempting
The prettiest girl in the world
She took a power nap on the way back to Nana's. Poor girl was so tired
Trying to get a posed shot of all 3 is pretty much impossible....

Me to Eric, "Let's try to set them on the couch and get a picture that way." LOL! Nope, not quite.
One descent family shot of everyone all dressed for church.
He's got his remote
Kids are done with pictures.....
Missing Uncle Matt :(
Keeping busy before dinner
I can't even handle how pretty she is!!
Cole sorting through all Nana's Christmas cards
Two kids crying and one rolling his eyes. Well, we tried!
Opening gifts in PJs, so fun!
Thanking Uncle Matt for her new Elsa high-heels
And Carter got a soccer ball from Matt
Cole really just wanted all the gift bows!
But he did rip open a few
He spent most of his time climbing in and out of the little rocking chair
Looking so grown up with that perfect smile!
She got a soccer ball, too.... for her first season coming up!
Obviously so excited about a new shirt!
One of her favorite gifts!
And one of his favorites, too!
Serving cookies in her Jasmine costume
Tugging along his new little frog from great grandparents
Fun checking out his 2016 calendar
So when we got home we set out cookies, milk, and carrots for the Reindeer, snapped a few quick pictures, and they went off to bed! Ella actually asked us to leave her room so that she could go to sleep so Santa would come!
Obviously, very excited!!
So much silliness
Love them!!
That was it for Christmas Eve. Will post pictures and lots of fun videos from Christmas morning soon!
