One Sunday a few weekends ago, Mom and I had a girls' day while Eric and Carter had a boys' day! Here are a few cute pictures Eric took of their adventures that day!
Eric and my Dad had a business conference in D.C., so we all headed up there for 5 days while Carter stayed behind with his grandparents. It was a great trip for Mom and me.... we did a lot of sightseeing. Unfortunately for Eric and Dad, they were stuck at the hotel in meetings almost the whole time! Since Eric and I just went to D.C. last summer and saw all the major memorials and such, mom and I stuck to the Smithsonian, The Archives, and The U.S. Capitol. All were pretty amazing.
Michelle Obama's Inagural Ball gown
Dorothy's slippers
Michael Jackson's hat
Abe Lincoln's top hat... the one he was wearing the night he was assassinated.
A beautiful coral reef. Every piece of this was crochet by hand.
Jaws of a Great White!
The famous elephant in the rotunda of the Natural History Museum!
The Hope Diamond
The U.S. Capitol, of course.
Inside the dome of the capitol
The U.S. Archives. This is where the Bill of Rights, The Constitution, and the Declaration of Independence are housed permanently.
Our family celebrated Matt's 30th birthday on Friday night with a hibachi dinner and a trip to a comedy club. Unfortunately I forgot my camera that night.... but we had lots of fun!
We went to the zoo with some friends today. It was a little chilly to start the day, but warmed up within the first hour, and then it was perfect! Carter really loved it, just like last time.
March is also a busy month... lots of stuff going on! Hopefully I can keep up with all our happenings, and not let two weeks pass me by again without a post!

Wow busy is right!! Carter is still as cute as ever!! Your pics always look amazing...what kind of camera do you have? We're in the market for a new & nicer one yay!! :)
