Well, we made it back from our loooooong trip (12 days!) to Tennessee and Florida. Today I went through over 700 photos that were taken, so I'm definitely going to have to get all the trip highlights in multiple posts! Here are the highlights from the first 4 days, our trip to Tennessee for a family wedding.
We left on Wednesday, cut the 11 hour drive in half, and drove to Little Rock. We found a nice hotel with a great indoor pool and splash pad that we knew the kids would enjoy... and they definitely did! We had the whole place to ourselves!! Perfect way to end a long day in the car!
Sweet babies!
Keeping busy in the car on our way to TN on Thursday!
We made it to Eric's grandparents by dinner time, and then the kids enjoyed playing outside and in Paw paw's workshop.
Hopscotch!
Fun by the railroad tracks!
And playing inside with Grandma.
Friday night was the rehearsal and dinner for Eric's cousin's wedding. We enjoyed a lot of great time visiting with lots of family we don't get to see very often, all from Tennessee and Missouri.
Here are the kids outside the home where the wedding was held.
Saturday morning we poked around the house some more.
Eric and Carter had set out pennies on the track, and went to check on them in the morning after the overnight train had come.
Only recovered 1 out of 10, but it was flat as a pancake, and they thought that was so cool!
Later on, we headed out to hike up a trail to a waterfall nearby. Lots of gorgeous spots for pictures!
Getting ready to go to the wedding! Cute kiddies!
At the reception
Tired little guy
Ella and Davy Crockett!
Passed out headed home. The wedding was wonderful, and we enjoyed all of our time with the family!
We were up bright and early Sunday morning and on our way to Destin. More pictures to come soon!!

Looks like Eric's grandparents were set up for visits from grand and great grandchildren. I know it meant so much to them. Really like the picture of Cindy with Ella. Looking forward to the next post!
