Carter was invited to a friends party at a rock climbing place. It wasn't exactly my little non-adventerous guy's cup of tea, but that's ok. He at least tried it.... even if he didn't get more than 3 feet off the ground. ;)

Carter LOVES to draw and write and just being creative in general.
Ella does too, and she's learning a lot by watching Carter. She draws the cutest little people now... one circle, two legs, and a smiley face. love it! :) Also, she drew a swimming pool at the bottom there.

Eric traveled several nights at the end of February, so I was flying solo on evening duty. The kids reading books while I give Cole his bottle and rock him.... this became our nightly routine.
Carter read the entire Toy Story 1 book with minimal help! SO proud of him!
February was the month of crazy weather and cabin fever! Fun times, but I'm looking forward to improvement in this area in March!
So much cuteness and sweetness I think I gained 2 lbs just seeing it all. The picture of Carter holding Cole and snuggling his head is just so very special. All the love and affection by Carter and complete trust by Cole in an instant. Splendid. The capture of Ella's hands in motion on the balance bean really captures that instant perfectly, also. So pleased you are having so much pleasure being a mom. I suspect Ella would have crawled to the top of the rock wall and Cater would have been at the bottom yelling cautions at her. Beautiful family, joy fill post.
