The Rest of December in Cell Phone Pictures

This post is long overdue, but here are the rest of my cell phone pictures from the month of December!

Carter has been enjoying martial arts since November. He will be testing for his yellow belt next week!

One of my best friends, Emily, had a gender reveal party, and they asked all who couldn't attend to send a picture of them wearing either blue or pink, whichever got their vote, and they made a fun video including all their friends' guesses. So this is what Ella and I sent. One of us was right..... and it wasn't me :)

Movie night while the big boys were away!

Carter worked on his giant world map puzzle in his room for a week or so in December.

It takes up most of the floor space. I was glad when it finally got picked up!

Enjoying some chocolate cake. In his Pjs? Maybe it was 8am, or maybe he was just in his jammies all day. Who knows.

We all love Cole knows to get into things, but digging his daddy's empty beer cans out of the outside trash can and bringing them inside and lining them up on my pretty bench might be a new low :(

Ella and I love to have quick Starbucks dates on our trips to Target when it's just us girls. It's kind of our thing. She gets lemon cake and I get coffee and we sit there and chat. And she shares a bite or two of her cake with me :)

Cole kicked his shoe off on this particular walk, and I had to retrace our steps all the way around the whole neighborhood in the dark to find it. That was fun :/

Ella and I did Frozen cookies for Santa that you could paint

We added some cool, edible little decals to each.....

(Carter had a friend over at this time, and they were serious into their video game. Ella was patiently waiting for her cookies to bake)

He read so much over winter break! He completed his winter reading challenge at school.

That time on the day after Christmas when several tornadoes came through our area, and we spent the better part of an hour in our tiny laundry room.......

.... and our pizza was delivered right in the middle of all of it, so we just brought the box in the laundry room with us. Yeah.

Carter loves this snap set he got for Christmas. A really great STEM toy!! Ella even kinda liked it!

The kids love to play tic-tac-toe and "text" each other on their leap pads :)

Ella enjoying herself at the library. She was so sweet and quiet, picking out a book and finding a chair to look at it in. So grown up.

This one, on the other had, while incredibly cute in the next few pictures, is a weapon of mass destruction at the library. I mean, really. Books everywhere. The poor librarian that has to come and empty all the 'red' shelves after we've been there. Sorry!!

But HOW CUTE DOES HE LOOK?! Sitting at the table so big. Love it.

Don't remember where we were going, but Carter wanted us to take a picture.

Oh, I guess we were going bowling at Main Event. Fun day!! We got there early and had the whole place to ourselves. Even Cole bowled!

Then we played games after....

We went to our favorite local pizza joint for lunch, then went to a fun ice cream place where they freeze it right before your eyes using liquid nitrogen. Fun family day!!

That was the rest of December for us. I'll have January up soon!!
