Outside at Grandma & Grandpa's

I am falling behind on my posts, and I need to play catch up for some fun we've had lately!

About 3 weeks ago, we spent a few days at Grandma and Grandpa's. We had beautiful spring weather.... nice temps and lots of sunshine! Here are some pictures of all the fun.

Cole wasn't too fond of Max right off the bat (because he licked him, ha!), but he warmed up to him quickly.
Fun in the water buckets!

Gone fishing, and Cole giving it a good once over.

Not afraid to touch it.... he must be thinking, "what is this thing?"
Making music on the keyboard
Carter had a lot of luck fishing this trip! He caught several good sized bass!

Mom helped with this one!

Likes catching and reeling them in, but doesn't want to touch them!
Another one!

Dad's forcing him to help so he can learn, he's protesting!
Fishing off the dam (Ella & Cole were napping inside, so we got some good time with just us and Carter)

And had to pick some blackberries while we were on the side. They grow like crazy over there!

Filling up the cup!

All full! Now Grandma just has to make the cobbler!
Eric took Carter to the other pond to fish off the pipe
Showing him how
Again, trying to teach him how to take it off the hook, but Carter resisting. Soon after this pic, Carter's pole slipped off Eric's lap and into the water to be gone forever :( But I do have a funny video of it
Ella's up now, and time or a mule ride. Family selfie with Homer the bull
Checking out some old trees

Love the red barn back there!
Carter getting the gate for us.... big guy!
Ella wanted to cheers with our iced tea
Cole's turn for a ride now....
Fun on the mule
Blowing bubbles

Cutie pie!!!

Can't forget the videos I took  :)
First, blackberries...

Quick catch....
Eric won't live this one down for a while....
Sometimes it's just fun to turn on the camera and go like normal. Makes for some REAL moments.
Farm fun!
Carter drove us back to the house. YIKES!
