Carter's Class Programs

We're here in the final weeks of school, and Carter's class had two preformances last week! On Thursday night, all of kindergarten had a little program where Carter had a small speaking part. He did great with his line, and I was beyond surprised to hear that he had volunteered for it! Wow! That just shows how much he's grown this year! Here is Thursday night's program.

Each class wore their teacher's favorite color. We were pink, which Carter was not excited about. But I got him a pink polo shirt, and he was okay with that because it was 'boyish' :)

Carter is neat the bottom left, sandwiched between mostly little girls.
The kids all did a great job, and the teachers did amazing organizing the whole thing! It was so cute, and a great farewell to kindergarten. :)
 All of kindergarten!
Ella was excited to run into her friend Eden after the program. Before we know it, it will be their kindergarten program we'll be at!

The next morning, Carter's class had a performance at the Friday assembly. Here are a few videos of that.

How cute! They all did a wonderful job in front of the whole school! I could tell Carter was very proud. :)

Mother's Day 2015

I had a wonderful Mother's Day this year! Nothing better than celebrating the day with your sweet little ones and your own Mom! Here are some pictures from our day together.

Eric and the kids got up early to fix me breakfast. The plan was to bring it to me in bed, but that didn't quite happen. We had some severe weather roll in just before 7am.
The tornado sirens started going off, so we quickly found ourselves taking shelter in the laundry room until the threat had passed. That was a fun 10 minutes with all 5 of us (plus a dog) squished into about 12 square feet of space. HA! The kids were a little confused as to what in the world we were doing. Never really scared though, thankfully.
Once that passed, we went along with breakfast (pancakes and bacon), and I opened the gifts the kids got for me, and the cards they made. So sweet. They were so proud.
Ella helped by feeding Cole his baby food.
Later on, we headed down to a fun fondue restaurant for lunch. We met my Mom, Dad, and brother there.
Taking a few pictures with the kids before we were sat.
Being silly, as always.
By the time we got Cole over there, Ella was done. And decided to give us the cold shoulder. HA!

Me and my mom

Enjoying the cheese fondue. YUM!
Always happy!
The fondue experience
The kids favorite part was the chocolate, obviously!

Two handsome guys
Chocolate dipped rice krispy treat. Serious business!
Last attempt at a picture with my babies before trying to beat the weather home.
Creepy! This really bad storm went just to the north of us by a couple of miles. But we had quite a view of it rolling in on our way home.

We enjoyed the rest of the day relaxing at home. Cole has just started to pull up on things. I think this was one of his first times to do that.
He thinks he's such a big boy!

So proud!
Ella was dying for more rain so she could put her rain boots and umbrella to use. No problem there, we got plenty!
I enjoyed lots of snuggles and down time with everyone!

Perfect way to spend Mother's Day weekend! I am beyond thankful each and every day to be a Mom. Those kids make me who I am, and being a mother is so much more rewarding than I ever knew it could be!

Ella's Chapel Day

Parents were invited last week to come and see what the kids do on days when they go to chapel. I was so looking forward to this, and Ella did not disappoint! Her class came in and she spotted me right away (parents got to sit in the choir loft and face the kids). She was so happy to see me and Cole up there!

Hard to see, but look at that big grin! (3rd from left in the line of 3 year olds walking in the front)
They sat so nicely and listened to a little bible story, then it was time to sing songs.
She is sitting by her best little friend, Ashlynn.
Here are a few videos of their songs. I was so happy to see her participating and enjoying herself! So, so cute!! (Sorry they're kind of shakey... I was holding a very wriggly baby while videoing!)

Prayer time at the end. So precious.

I loved getting to watch Ella in her school element! And I could tell by all the big smiles and waves that she was happy to have me there watching her too. She was so proud! And so was I! :)

Daily Life - April

April has come and gone in a flash, and I have a ton of cell phone pictures to prove it!

Sweet sleeping boy

So fascinated with Ella's ($25) Frozen souvenir

She dressed herself in my clothes, silly girl!
So pretty headed to school the day of her classroom Easter egg hunt
He doesn't much let me rock him anymore, so I savor these moments when I get them.
 Oh dear, this girl!
 Helping her brother.
We surprised Carter for lunch one day, and he was excited to get to buy ice cream for Ella. He's been dying to buy her ice cream! Sweet brother.
And Carter's teacher got her baby fix loving on Cole.... like always!
First time to ride in the shopping cart like a big boy!

 :)
Prettiest girl in he world snoozing

Kids getting ready to hunt eggs (again) at my MOPS group egghunt
 Fun with our neighbor friends
 They're off

Dinner one Friday night. I think this was Cole's first high chair experience!
 Watching Carter play baseball
 Love my boy!
 Baseball game wore him out!
She sees birds on he fence! So happy... She's obsessed!!
Little gymnast.... she makes everything a gymnastics move!
She put these headbands around her chest and said she was exercising (I wear a heart rate monitor around my chest, so this cracked me up!)
 Again with the gymnastics
Happy boy! Put him on he floor to roam and get into things, and he's in heaven!
Carter had a friend over one day after school, and they parked it in the hallway looking at books for a good 30 minutes.
Cole really wanted in on the action....
 Bathtime choke hold, ha!
Ella and I got some girl time in at the park one afternoon. Fun times with my girl!
Duck in the pool. Ella wanted in there bad, and was a little jealous of that duck swimming in our pool.

Enjoying a day at the park!

Believe me when I say that Cole has constant entertainment

Cole did a lot of push ups, planks, and downward dog poses as he was learning to crawl. Still does it sometimes, and always makes me laugh!

 Dinner with grandma and grandpa
 Messy eater!
Carter had his birthday recognized at school assembly. He was up there next to a neighborhood buddy, and they thought they were just the coolest. :)
Ella turned the living room into a pillow pit
He never gets tired of legos
We played "drive thru" a lot one morning when I had taken the screens off to wash the windows.
Ok, this next series of pictures might be the cutest thing I've ever seen. Love that happy baby boy so much!

 I mean, I just can't!!!

 Dodgeball with Daddy one evening

 Sillies
Cole thinks he's something else because he got his brother's toy off the fireplace
 Oh, Ella!
 Big girl with straight hair!
 She's funny :)
Ella enjoyed the butterfly exhibit at a local children's museum with a few little friends

 And so did Cole
Unwinding after school with some TV in my bed.
We had a great time at Carter's school carnival!
Despite it having to be moved indoors.... so fun!
 Uh oh! Trouble!
Swimming and playing in the tub.
He loves to eat and feed himself now!
He's finding all kinds of fun things down low to tinker with.
 Mmmmmm!

And he loves to get in the way in the kitchen
 Awwww, snuggles!
He got a hold of Ella's lipgloss, ha!
Ella took it upon herself to help fold laundry one day. I walked in and she had several things layed out and folded up. :)
Covered in sheet marks from head to toe.... that's a sing of a good nap!
Carter loves to pick Cole up and help him get around like this.
 Cuties.
 Look who Cole found outside!
Stormie loves that we have a very messy eater in the house again!
 :)
The kids made up a fun game with the hoola hoops. We laughed and laughed watching them do this!
 She's ok!

 So many giggles!
Show time. Take note of Ella's shoes. And Cole has started noticing the TV too.
Enjoying an early morning walk!
Standing up so big! And Ella scaling something again.
We had dinner at a hibachi place recently for Uncle Andrew's birthday.
 :)
Love this happy boy when he wakes up!
Making a mess of toys is fun! Look how big he looks!
And getting stuck under the kitchen table. The underside of that table and chairs has sure seen a lot of the tops of my baby's heads!

 So happy, all the time.
 Big boy just helping himself!
Seriously?! She's "shaving" her legs! Oh my word! Too big.
Ella and a friend went to jump at a bounce house place, and Cole really enjoyed himself too!
The place was basically empty, and Cole went all over and just had the best time. I'm sure he thought he was so big.

So the kids love this Just Dance video game we have. They go crazy dancing to it. And Cole loves to watch. Both them, and the game on the TV. It's hilarious, and definitely entertainment for the entire family!
He turned to face the kids, but was still torn on what/who to watch!

 :)

We have swim lessons and the last month of school coming up in May! Excited for summer with these 3!! Have lots of videos I'll be posting soon, too!
