9 Weeks

I had another doctor's appointment this morning. Everything is continuing to look good! Heard the heart beat.... it was 174! I'll go back in 3 weeks to see the doctor and have a sonogram!! Then I get to kiss my first trimester GOODBYE! Soooo done with it.

A bunch of my preggo friends have been doing these little pregnancy updates every so often. I didn't do anything like this with Carter, so I thought I'd do it this time to document everything and keep you all informed! Here we go.

Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along:
9 weeks!

Size of baby:

About an inch long, or the size of a grape!

Total Weight Gain/Loss:
Loss of about 1.5 pounds so far. I did this in my first trimester with Carter, too. But don't worry, I'll more than make up for the weight loss later, I'm sure!

Maternity Clothes:

Not yet, but my waist bands are getting tight! It's depressing that nothing fits good anymore! But, I've LOST 1.5 pounds?! What?

Gender:

Not sure yet. Would love to have a little girl this time, but would truly be happy with either! Maybe we'll find out on April 15th?! But I'm not holding my breath.....

Movement:

Nope, not yet

Sleep:

Not great. I toss and turn a lot, and have been waking up at least once a night where I can't go back to sleep and just lay there for like an hour. =(

Symptoms:

Upset tummy, headaches, fatigue, food aversions to almost everything, LOTS of gagging (sorry if that's TMI), but fortunately no vommiting.

What I miss:

Wine!

Cravings:

The only thing that always sounds good is soup or a baked potato. I've been thinking about pineapple a lot lately, too, it seems. Everything else is hit or miss.... mostly miss.

Best Moment this week:

Hearing the heart beat again at the doctor today!

What I am looking forward to:

Finding out the baby's gender, and teaching Carter more about being a big brother!
