Crib Talker

Carter usually wakes up in the morning or after nap quite happy. He loves laying around in his crib for a little while before I get him up, and he talks to himself every single time. He is really quite the chatter box when he's just woken up! Here are some of the cute things I've heard him say over the monitor lately. You can tell his little mind is busy as it can be, and wandering all over the place!

• "Airplane? I hear it!" (as an airplane flies over our house)
• "Stormie! Get that fly!" (Stormie often chases flies when there is one in the house)
• "Tennessee... GO!! Tennessee!"
• "Mommy.... where are you?"
• "Mommy open door! Mommy open door!"
• "Car got a bath" (this was the same afternoon that I ran my car through a carwash with C in the back seat)
• "Shhh. Listen. What's that?" (the other day when it was raining when he woke up)
• "Ohhhhh, Lightning McQueen FAST!"
• "I hungry. Snack Time? Uh huh!"
• "Duck goes quack, quack"
• "[Give] Mason a hug..... Awwww!"
• "Carter [has on] a blue shirt!"
• "Uh oh, what happened?"
• "Where'd Andrew go? The park? Or the gym?" (this cracks me up!)

I love my little chatter box! It's so much fun!
